 HALF-TIME MASONRY INSTRUCTOR

The Clearfield County Career Center is accepting applications for a half-time Masonry Technology Instructor for the 2017-18 school year. Heating, Ventilating, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration Instructor

The Clearfield County Career and Technology Center is accepting applications for a permanent full-time heating, ventilating, air conditioning and refrigeration instructor beginning the 2017-18 school year.  Candidate must possess appropriate PA teaching certification in HVACR or qualifications and willingness to obtain their certification.  Requires minimum of four years current full-time work experience in repair and maintenance of commercial and domestic heating, air conditioning and refrigeration systems.  Applicant should possess a thorough knowledge of the principals of conditioning of air (heating and cooling); filtering and controlling humidity; operating characteristics of units and parts; blueprint reading; use of technical reference manuals; the diagnosis of malfunctions; overhaul, repair and adjustment of units and parts; and repair of electric/electronic and pneumatic control systems.  Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills; previous teaching or work experience with high school age students a plus.  Acts 34, 114, 151 and 168 clearances required upon hire.  Send letter of interest, resume, PA Standard Teaching application, and copy of PDE certification to Robin Dusch, CCCTC, 1620 River Road, Clearfield, PA 16830.  Deadline June 20, or until position filled.  EOE

 

 

PART-TIME NURSING INSTRUCTORS

Clearfield County Career Center’s Practical Nursing Program is accepting applications for part-time nursing instructors. Employment Clearances:

ALL public and private schools are required to review the background check reports, including the federal criminal history record information (CHRI) reports of all prospective employees and independent contractors who will have contact with children.  The higher education institution administrator is responsible for reviewing the reports of prospective student teachers.  The school/higher education administrator must make a determination regarding the fitness of the individual to work in a position where he or she will have contact with children. The review and fitness determination is required PRIOR to the applicant working in a school.
