The students in the Automotive Mechanics Program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) recently had the opportunity to listen to a presentation through Hunters Garage of Clearfield, PA. Doug and Cindy Hunter talked with the students about several things that make up a good employee. Among the topics they covered were work ethic, professionalism, and characteristics of a great employee. They also talked with the Automotive Mechanic students about apprenticeships available with their garage and about their Gear Up Tech Event. Mr. Dan Kerlin, Automotive Mechanic’s Instructor, invites several speakers in during the year to talk with his class about different opportunities available in the Automotive Mechanics field.
