Guy Bar Educates CCCTC Cosmetology Program on Styling Techniques

The students in the Cosmetology program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) recently learned how to master hot tools styling techniques from Guy Bar. Mr. Bar was born in Italy and moved to California to master his craft of coaching clients on preserving the hair’s integrity and styling tools.

Two representatives from JJ Powell Inc. recently visited the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center’s Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration program to explain the business and benefits they offer to employees. They explained the duties of a service technician and also the apprenticeships they offer to willing candidates.

CCCTC Adult Cosmetology Students Complete Friday Challenge


The Clearfield County Adult Cosmetology students had their first Friday challenge where they were required to create a salon Christmas display. They are given one day and must work together as a team.
