The Adult Cosmetology students at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) recently had Nick Ortega, Paul Mitchell National Trainer, visit their classroom with a training presentation. Nick talked with the students about various parts of the cosmetology world such as: owning a salon, being a cosmetology instructor, working on movie sets, videos, or television.  Nick travels nationally and internationally sharing his education experiences on hair trends, product usage, and business building for hair salons and trainers.  He showed the students how to make neutral colors using cups of water and food coloring, giving them a visualization of how hair color looks when adding different hues. He also explained that the color will also look different depending on the lighting you use when coloring hair. The students spent the day listening and learning on the clinic floor.
