CCCTC graduate of the month
Sierra Maney attended the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC), graduating in 2016 from the Culinary Arts and Food Management program. During her time at CCCTC, Sierra indicated her instructor, Mr. Dan Schleiden, taught her about working hard and took the time to work one on one with each student. Sierra said that coming to the CCCTC prepared her for college and the skills, work ethic, and environment helped her stay focused and excel in the program. Sierra chose CCCTC because she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do after high school and knew this would be the best way to explore. After graduating from the CCCTC Culinary Arts program, Sierra attended the IUP Academy of Culinary Arts, completing her externship with Wegmans in State College, where she is now an employee. Sierra Maney is only one example of how CCCTC graduates use their education to strengthen the industry in their field of study.
