CCCTC Cosmetology Students Learning Esthetics

Students in the Cosmetology program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) are currently learning esthetics. Esthetics is one of the fastest growing jobs in America as more women and men are focusing on self-care and wellness.  Students in the Cosmetology program not only learn about hair and nails, but skin as well. Cosmetology student Logan Smeal from Moshannon Valley Area High School is shown doing a facial on Logan Sheeder from Curwensville Area High School. Students and faculty at CCCTC will join others across the nation during the month of February to celebrate “National Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month.”  CTE Month provides programs across the country an opportunity to demonstrate how CTE makes students college-and career-ready and prepares them for high-wage, high-demand occupation fields.
