Digital Media Arts A.M. students at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) are currently working on restoring old, faded, and torn images, and colorizing black and white photos.  For this project, students learn about Photoshop layers, utilizing selection tools, brushes, and blending modes, and how to export in multiple formats.  Layers are an absolutely critical concept for mastering Photoshop. Adobe introduced layers in Photoshop 3 in 1995. Today, nearly every graphics program of note features this important innovation in digital imaging.
