CCCTC Drafting and Welding Student Create Project

Drafting & Design and Welding students at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) had the opportunity to work together to bring a project to life.  Dalton Kristofits, Drafting and Design student from West Branch Area High School created drawings of parts to be cut out with the CNC Plasma Cutter in Welding.  Welding students Brandon Daubs from Clearfield Area High School and Westin Myers from Philipsburg Osceola Area High School then worked to assemble and weld the parts together to create what the Welding Instructor, Mr. Dave Rupert, has named the “Cube of Doom”.  It was a great project where students from both programs were not only able to reinforce skills of their trade, but to also learn new skills in another trade.
