
Each year the Cooperative Education Department of the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center celebrates the contributions of local business as employer partners. The employer partner is an important key element in educating a student in the world of work. They continue to make a difference in a young person’s life. The Cooperative Education program would like to sincerely thank all the employment partners for all they have done for student employees as well as all the effort and time they have put into training a student this year. In addition to celebrating employer partners, the CCCTC recognizes outstanding co-op students by awarding them a $25 gift check. Emily Kizina of Philipsburg Osceola Area School District was awarded Outstanding Diversified Occupations student of the year. She is employed at Pizza Hut of Philipsburg. Emily’s future plans include attending Duquesne University for Early Childhood Education. Devon Dixon of Clearfield Area School District was awarded the Outstanding Capstone Student of the year. He is employed at RevHoopes Trucking in Woodland, PA. He plans to continue his employment. All monies for these awards are provided through generous contributions from our co-op employers, as well as other local businesses.
