Students in the Information Technology program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) are currently learning about updating firmware on routers. Firmware carries out the integral functions of hardware and updates bring some alterations in the program, which are necessary to enable the corresponding devices to operate proficiently, as well as fix the bugs for better security. This is one of the many skills students learn at the CCCTC. To learn more about the opportunities at the CCCTC for high school and adult students, visit us at www.ccctc.edu.
