Students in the Masonry Construction program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) recently finished their unit on foundations. Students learned several skills such as laying block to the line, building jamb leads and corner leads, squaring a building, inserting foundation vents, and parging a block wall. Students then needed to complete a project on building a 28’ x 16’ crawl space foundation.
