CCCTC Masonry & Construction Students Learning to Build Using Lead and Lintel

Students in the Masonry Construction program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) are learning to build using a lead. Students have partners to mirror their lead and connect the leads together to complete a wall.  Another skill the students are learning is a lintel, which is a very common part of buildings.  Lintel is a type of beam which is used to support the above wall in an opening, such as a door or window.  To learn more about the opportunities in the Masonry program for adults and high school students, visit us at www.ccctc.edu.
