Students in the Masonry and Construction program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center were recently presented with a demonstration from Boral about manufactured stone veneer. Dell Nolt and Doug Heinbaugh, from Boral, a multinational manufacturing and supply building and construction company, taught students about the different methods of applying stone veneer onto a wooden backer wall and a CMU backer wall. The demonstration included information about codes required while using manufactured stone veneer, the installation of stone veneer on a wooden structure, and applying stone veneer to a concrete or CMU wall.
