CCCTC Practical Nursing Program Graduates 79th Class

NURSING GRADUATES:  The 79th class of the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center’s (CCCTC) Practical Nursing Program graduated fourteen students on Wednesday, February 13, 2019.  Fred Redden, Executive Director, welcomed the audience to the event.  Angela Bonante, nursing student, introduced the Commencement speaker: Tori Beveridge from Mountain Laurel Nursing Home and former graduate of the CCCTC Practical Nursing Program. Academic awards were presented by Cheryl Krieg, Nursing Program Director, to the three students with the highest grade point averages in the class: Samantha Lindemuth, Trisha Bruss and Morgan McDermott.  A certificate for excellent attendance was awarded to Javannah Conrad.  Four graduates were recognized as members of the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS): Trisha Bruss, Pamela Kematick, Samantha Lindemuth and Morgan McDermott.  Diplomas were awarded by Terry Struble, Superintendent of Record and Mr. Redden.  Graduates were presented for graduation by Tonya Saggese, Nursing Instructor and nursing pins were awarded by Alene Homan, Nursing Instructor.  Barbara Smith, Nursing Instructor, led the graduates in reciting the Practical Nursing Pledge.  Morgan McDermott, nursing student, provided the farewell address.  Front row from left: Trisha Bruss, Stephany Ball, Angela Bonante, Pamela Kematick, Sophia Assalone and Tabitha Stiles.  Second Row from left: Samantha Lindemuth, Morgan McDermott, Casey Hamilton, Amanda Bunnell, Michelle Croyle, Javannah Contrad, Jessica Voss and Bobbi Carbaugh. The nursing program is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing, Inc. and Pennsylvania Department of Education and approved by the PA State Board of Nursing.
