Students in the Drafting and Design, Culinary Arts and Food Management, and Welding and Metal Fabrication programs collaborated to design and build a wood and charcoal grill to be used as a feature in the upcoming Culinary Arts patio and pergola project. Drafting and Welding students met with Culinary students to determine the needs for the grill and used AutoCAD to design cut files that Welding students went on to cut out on their CNC plasma cutter. Welding then built the grill and made modifications where needed. Collision Repair then painted the grill.  The grill was tested recently at CCCTC’s field day.  To learn more about the opportunities at the CCCTC, visit us at www.ccctc.edu.
