CCCTC Staff Attend PASRO Safety Conference

On July 18-20, 2022, our security officer, December Adams attended the fourth annual PASRO Conference with Fred Redden, Executive Director, and Tiffany Cover, Principal, in Harrisburg, PA. “PASRO is a not-for-profit organization that represents school-based law enforcement personnel. These personnel serve the law enforcement needs of schools, communities, and agencies by providing the education, support, and resources needed to build a safe and positive learning environment in Pennsylvania’s schools” (https://www.pasro.org/). Each year, they host a school safety conference that welcomes all personnel who have a stake in protecting our schools. This year, among many amazing speakers, they got to hear from Connecticut State Police Commander Colonel Daniel Stebbins, who oversaw the investigation into the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre. Additionally, they got to review some of the leading safety devices in the industry and will be purchasing some various equipment for the CCCTC.
