CCCTC Student Julianna Windhorst Wins DECA Competition

Students from the Administrative Technology Program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center competed in DECA’s Student Social Media Marketing Challenge this past fall. The challenge provided the opportunity for participants to compete in the world’s first social media marketing simulation used by top institutions around the world.  Participants were able to test their social media marketing skills by managing a $50,000 budget in simulated ad dollars for a fictitious, global bag company. Their online strategy included marketing on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube and Pinterest.

Over 4,500 DECA members competed in the challenge with the top 10 overall winners and the top two per state recently being announced. Clearfield County CTC student Julianna Windhorst was one of the top two students in the state of Pennsylvania. To learn more about the opportunities at CCCTC visit us at www.ccctc.edu.
