Students from the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center’s Digital Media Arts program spent Thursday, March 7 visiting WTAJ-TV in Altoona. Students got a tour of the studio, heard from several staff members about their jobs, got to experience the green with Christy Shields, and were able to observe the noon broadcast. “It was amazing to see just how much planning and work it takes to create a broadcast,” said Kyra Mollura, 11th grade student from Clearfield High School. “I was surprised there were so many people working behind the scenes, but the cameras were all controlled electronically, without a cameraman.”
