
Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) students Tierra Miller, a Cosmetology student from Philipsburg Osceola High School; Hanna Switala, a Cosmetology student from Moshannon Valley Area High School; and Reese Wells, a Information Technology student from Curwensville Area High School, recently competed in the SkillsUSA state competition held in Hershey, PA. The community service group designed a community service project by creating a Canine 5K to raise money for the Clearfield County SPCA. The event was held on Saturday, April 6 at the Clearfield County Fair Grounds. SkillsUSA improves the quality of America’s skilled workforce through a structured program of citizenship, leadership, employability, technical and professional skills training.
