Students in the Welding and Metal Fabrication program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) designed and created a unique fire pit inspired by a photo of a truck. The girls used the photo to make a template for the different parts of the truck. They then used 10 gauge sheet metal and used the GMAW, or MIG process, to create the parts. Shown in photo is Sidney Hoover, West Branch Area High School; Rachel Howard, Moshannon Valley Area High School; and Michaela Helsel, Clearfield Area High School.
