CCCTC’s High School Cosmetology Students Are Learning Balayage

Students in the High School Cosmetology program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) are putting their skills to work. Students have been learning about how to create color using balayage and color melt technique which is like free-hand coloring.  In the photos, the Balayage color melting was done on this client by 11th grade student, Vanaessa Baker from Clearfield Area High School during the AM session of the Cosmetology Clinic. The haircut and finished style was completed by 12th grade student Monica Tocimak from Philipsburg Area High School during the PM session of Cosmetology Clinic. Clinic hours for AM session on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 8:15-10:15 AM and for the PM session on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 12:15-2:15 PM.  Anyone wishing to make an appointment can call 814-765-5308.
