Former Student Talks to CCCTC HVAC/R Students

Dylan Hamilton, graduate of the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center’s (CCCTC) Automotive Mechanic’s  program, recently talked to current Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration students about the many opportunities with a union after graduation.  Dylan currently does an apprenticeship with Local 19 Sheet Metal Workers.  He explained to the students what he does on a daily basis, what his employer expects, job availability, and certifications earned to be a more valuable employee with higher pay increases.  He also showed the students the tools of the trade and the toolbox he made while in his training with his apprenticeship program.
