Zack Lovell, lead service technician from Nextech NE, recently visited the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) to explain their six month apprenticeship program.  Mr. Lovell explained to the students that he is unable to find enough qualified technicians to fill high paying jobs. He informed them that this field has an abundant amount of job openings and nobody to fill them. Most employers are looking for graduates with years of experience, but since there is such a need, they decided to offer the apprenticeship program to help graduates get the experience.
