Students in the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) program at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) recently benefited from a presentation by Curt Martin, representative from Beckett Corporation. Mr. Martin talked about residential and commercial burners, controls, and accessories aligned with the HVAC/R trade. He explained to students that setting electrodes by eyeing the measurement, instead of using a gauge to measure, doesn’t always provide a good outcome. He showed students the correct way to use a gauge and gave each a burner manual with gauge.
