The students in the Cosmetology Program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) recently had the opportunity to listen to a presentation from Martin’s Barber School in Huntington, PA.  Mr. Joe Martin, the Director of the school, explained to the students the different avenues they can explore, one of them being a barber.  Mr. Martin showed the students the 11 steps to fading, talked about scissor and clipper work, and different tricks of the trade. He told the students after time they would be able to train their eye to see the haircut perfection. He explained they really need to concentrate on soft skills such as communication, decision-making, time management, etc. To learn more about the Cosmetology program at the CCCTC, visit us at www.CCCTC.edu
