Students in the Cosmetology program AM session at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center are currently practicing individual eyelash application.  Individual eyelashes create a more natural effect rather than strip lashes and can be customized to the client’s preference on length and fullness. CCCTC Information Technology Students Preparing for National Cyber League Competition

Students in the Information Technology program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) have been refining their skills in preparation for the National Cyber League Competition to be held on March 26.  The National Cyber League Competition enables students to prepare and test themselves against practical cybersecurity challenges that they may face in the workforce, such as identifying hackers from forensic data, pentesting and auditing vulnerable websites, recovering from ransomware attacks, and more. Nolan Barr, CCCTC Electrical Occupations Student, Utilizing Wiring Skills

First year students in the Electrical Occupations program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) are currently utilizing their skills by wiring switches in the faux house frame located in the program.  Pictured is Electrical Occupations student, Nolan Barr from Clearfield Area High School, wiring a four-way switch.  A four-way switch is similar to a three-way, except it has four terminals (plus a ground terminal) and controls one fixture from three locations. CCCTC Health Occupations Technology Students Study Sheep Brain

Students in the Health Occupations Technology program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) are currently studying the nervous system including the function and anatomy of the brain. Health Occupations Technology Instructor, Mrs. Jody Gunter, introduced a sheep brain to show how similar it is to a human brain, with exception to size. Students were able to use the sheep brain to locate and identify features related to a human brain and discuss what section of the brain controls the body.
