Local Business Employee Takes Advantage of CCCTC Testing Site

    Jon Hartman was the most recent local business employee to take advantage of the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center’s new testing site. Mr. Hartman will be driving motor coach for Fullington.  The CCCTC’s new testing site will be open Monday-Friday for testing from 8AM-3PM. The test is the same test administered by PennDOT. CCCTC Electrical Graduate, Ben Panebianco, From IBEW Local 5 Speaks to Current Students

The students in Jack Rumfola’s Electrical Occupations program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Program (CCCTC) had a former student speak to the class.  Mr. Ben Panebianco from IBEW Local 5 graduated from the CCCTC’s Electrical Occupations program as an outstanding student and is now employed by Lighthouse Electric  He explained to the students in the PM class about the opportunities available to them once they graduate. Ray Kratz, Regional Manager, from Eastern Environmental Industries visited the Truck Driver Training program at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) to talk to upcoming graduates about the job opportunities available with their company. CCCTC Students in Diesel Program Benefit from Stemco Clinic

The students in Mr. Reece Matthew’s Diesel Equipment Maintenance & Repair program at the Clearfield County Career & technology Center (CCCTC) recently attended a clinic by Stemco. Mr. Dave Blitz, Stemco Representative,  talked to the CCCTC students about wheel ends on heavy trucks. He went through each step to show how to remove, clean and inspect wheel bearings and hubs. He also talked about replacing wheel seals and why they fail. Former Student, Scott Beers, Talks To CCCTC Electrical Students About Penelec Program

Jack Rumfola, Electrical Occupations Instructor at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC), invited alumni student, Scott Beers, to speak to his current Electrical Occupations class. Scott was a 2017 graduate of the same class.  He is currently a student at Edinboro University in the Power Systems Institute at First Energy program.  Eligible students for this program gain an associate’s degree and training for a potential job opportunity with Penelec as a potential lineman.  He talked about how safety is number one every day while learning in the program.  One the the handbooks he relies on is the Accident Prevention...

CCCTC Passes First Student At Their New Testing Site

The Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) recently passed their first third party testing site student. Christopher Stiner from Frenchville was the first person to test at our new site. He passed the 3 required tests which include: vehicle inspection, basic control skills, and on the road test. Christopher has received his CDL license. The CCCTC’s new testing site will be open Monday-Friday for testing from 8AM-3PM. The test is the same test administered by PennDOT.
