CCCTC Welcomes Moshannon Valley 10th Grade Students To Tour

The Moshannon Valley 10th grade students had a full day at CCCTC today. Students in the 10th grade had the opportunity to visit each of the 14 programs that CCCTC offers in the A.M. Students then were treated to lunch prepared by the Culinary Arts program. After lunch the students then chose up to three programs to spend more time in to help decide which one is a good fit for them. The students will be able to enroll in these programs their 11th grade year. What a great group of kids. Thanks MoValley!

CCCTC Announces Opening of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Refrigeration Program

The Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) is excited to announce that the opening of the new Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, and Refrigeration (HVAC/R) program that was board approved and ready to enroll for the 2017-18 school year. The program will be included in the 10th grade tours that are scheduled for January and February. HVAC/R will prepare students for an entry-level position as an installer, maintenance, or service technician dealing with aspects of the residential and commercial field.  This career area is always growing, has great monetary potential, and will always be in demand.  Students will become adept...

CCCTC Adult Cosmetology Students Pay It Forward

Students in the Adult Cosmetology program at the Clearfield County Career & Technology Center (CCCTC) have Friday challenges that the instructor assigns them weekly. The most recent challenge was the “Pay It Forward” challenge. The group had to find 3 people that they didn’t know that need a day of beauty. The day of beauty would consist of a free manicure, pedicure, and facial done by the students at the CCCTC. CCCTC Announces Larry Cole As Graduate Of The Month

  CCCTC graduate of the month Larry Cole attended the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) for two years in the Masonry Construction Program. During his time at CCCTC, Larry said that the hands-on skills and the occupational fundamentals he learned helped prepare him for the workforce right out of high school. One of the reasons Larry chose the CCCTC was because he knew that he could get an education building things that would be around for a long time.
