Noah Hoffner, CCCTC Diesel Student, Replacing Starter on a Freightliner Truck

Students in the Diesel Equipment Maintenance and Repair program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) are training on freightliner trucks that are used in the Truck Driver Training program at the CCCTC. Students are learning to maintain and repair heavy duty trucks and equipment.  Current Diesel student, Noah Hoffner from West Branch Area High School, is shown in the photo replacing a starter in a freightliner truck. Students and faculty at CCCTC will join others across the nation during the month of February to celebrate “National Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month.”  CTE Month provides programs across the country an opportunity to demonstrate how CTE makes students college-and career-ready and prepares them for high-wage, high-demand occupation fields.
