CCCTC Welcomes Melanie Holt as Practical Nursing Director

The Joint Operating Committee of the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mrs. Melanie Holt as the new CCCTC Practical Nursing Director.

Mrs. Holt Started her nursing career in 1994 as a Certified Nursing Aide (CNA).  She obtained her Associate degree in Emergency Medical Science in 2008, obtained her Licensed Practical Nursing license from Jeff Tech in 2014, received her Associate Degree in Nursing from Lock Haven University (LHU) in 2020, and a bachelor’s degree in Nursing from LHU in 2022.  Mrs. Holt is on schedule to complete her Master’s Degree in Nursing Leadership and Administration in August of 2024.  

Mrs. Holt has a range of career experience in family practice, ear, nose, and throat (ENT), emergency medicine, cardiology, geriatrics, and administration.

Mrs. Holt is excited to share her knowledge and experiences with the students and help to develop their love of nursing. She says, “I look forward to mentoring and assisting in their successes”.
