Students in the Digital Media Arts program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) recently showcased their storytelling and video production skills through the creation of an original movie trailer. The concept: a fictitious film inspired by the life and legacy of a legendary chess player—brought to life by the students’ creativity and technical expertise.
Adult student, Jeremiah Hendren, led the project, writing and directing the trailer as part of an advanced video production unit. From scripting and shot planning to filming and editing, Jeremiah worked alongside his peers to deliver a compelling and cinematic glimpse into the imagined world of a chess master’s rise to greatness.
This project highlights the hands-on, career-ready experiences students gain in the Digital Media Arts program, combining creative vision with real-world production techniques. CCCTC is proud to celebrate the innovation, leadership, and collaboration of our students as they bring their ideas to life on screen.
