Students in the Diesel Equipment Maintenance and Repair program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) are assigned different positions in the Diesel shop weekly. CCCTC Draws Random Prize Winners for September Students of the Month

The Clearfield County Career and Technology Center’s Instructors chose one morning student and one afternoon student in their program as their student of the month. Two names were randomly drawn to win prizes. Morning session winners were Andrew Zimmerman, Masonry and Construction program from Moshannon Valley Area High School; and Noah Date, Information Technology program from Moshannon Valley Area High School. Afternoon session winners were Jackson Croyle, West Branch Area High School; and Shawn Frey, Moshannon Valley Area High School.

CCCTC Drafting and Design Students Create Light Boxes

Students in the Drafting and Design program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center have been using their skills to create light boxes. Students are using AutoCAD to create the design, which is then transferred to a laser cutter, and finally assembled. Light boxes are one of many projects students create throughout the year. Students in the Culinary Arts and Food Management program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) are learning time-management and group leadership in the program.  By learning effective time management skills, as well as methods for leading your colleagues in the kitchen, it will help the student work as an efficient unit. Students are given individual tasks to complete one project in the end.
