The 10th grade students from Moshannon Valley Area High School had the opportunity to tour fourteen programs at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) to explore options of attending during their 11th and 12th grade year. Students were able to perform hands-on activities in the programs to help them determine if the trades are a good path for their future. The A.M. Health Occupations Class wins Golden Pumpkin award at CCCTC Fall Open House

Students at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center participated in the annual pumpkin decorating contest.  Each program decorates a pumpkin using items from their program or to represent their program.  The winner gets to display the “golden pumpkin” in their program for the year.  Decorated pumpkins are displayed during Fall Open House for parents/guardians and the community to view and vote on. There were many great entries. Students in the morning Health Occupations program won the contest this year.

CCCTC Carpentry Students Start Process to Build Pavilion for Clearfield Little League Baseball Field

Students in the Carpentry and Building Construction program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center (CCCTC) recently started the process of building a pavilion at the Clearfield Little League Field in honor of Jerry Linsenbigler, former President of the Clearfield Youth Baseball Association. The pavilion is being constructed by the CCCTC Carpentry students as a hands-on project to give them experience in the many different facets of carpentry and construction.
