Hot Spots Need to be Returned

Borrowed hot spots from the CCCTC will need to be returned the week of May 24th upon arrival to the CCCTC. Therefore, once students enter the building, they should immediately go into the technology office to return (between 8:15-8:45 and 12:00-12:15). Seniors will need to have theirs returned by the end of the day Wed., 26th. If a student fails to return one, their graduate certificate will be held until it is returned or the $90 fee is paid. CCCTC Student is First Digital Media Arts Student to Earn ACA Animate Cerification

Congratulations to Serenity Saupp, Digital Media Arts (DMA) student from Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School, for successfully passing the Adobe Certified Associate (ACA) Exam in Visual Design Using Photoshop and Multiplatform Animation using Animate. Both certifications are 50-minute performance-based exams that include in-app tasks, realistic scenarios, and interactive questions.  Serenity is the first DMA student to take the ACA Animate certification exam.  The exam proves a student has the skills necessary to create dynamic and engaging content required for a career in animation and design.  To learn more about the DMA program, visit us at www.ccctc.edu.

CCCTC Drafting Students Create Designs for T-Shirts

Students in the Drafting and Design program at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center have been creating designs using Adobe Illustrator to put onto t-shirts. Students create the design, print it out on vinyl transfer paper, weed the paper, and then transfer the image to the shirt using a heat press.
